About Kistet Engineering & Trading

Founded in 2009 as a sole proprietorship, Kistet Engineering & Trading is a trusted Ethiopian company specializing in the supply, installation, testing, and commissioning of dam safety instrumentation and hydromechanical works for irrigation dams. We blend international OEM partnerships with local execution to deliver reliable, inspection-ready monitoring and water-control systems.

Kistet has delivered works on projects such as Kessem, Ribb, Arjo Dedessa, Megech, Ajima Chacha, Khalid Dijo, Upper Gudder, Weybo, Gololcha, and Logia dams—supporting Ethiopia’s irrigation and water-resources programs. We are now preparing to serve clients in Rwanda and elsewhere in the region.
