Tiltmeter
A tiltmeter measures tiny angular changes (often in microradians) to track rotation of dam structures and adjacent slopes. Mounted on concrete monoliths, spillway piers, galleries, abutments, or on rock/soil near the dam, it reveals differential settlement, foundation movement, thermal or seismic response, and creep.
