The Ribb Irrigation Dam is a major earth-rockfill structure designed to create a large reservoir on the Ribb River, supporting extensive agricultural irrigation in the South Gondar region.

Kistet’s Scope of Work

In partnership with GKM Consultants, Kistet Engineering was subcontracted for the installation, testing, and commissioning of the dam’s comprehensive safety monitoring system. All instruments have been successfully installed.

Data Acquisition and Control System

Configuration and setup of a central control panel for data consolidation.

DAQ+MUX, visualization, cabling, OVP/power, install/T&C) including but not limited to i

nstallation of Campbell Scientific dataloggers for reliable, automated data collection.

Programming and configuration using LoggerNet software to manage the data acquisition schedule.

System Testing and Commissioning

Comprehensive testing of all installed sensors and data acquisition components.

Final commissioning of the integrated monitoring system ahead of the project handover.
